Tom Sullivan has dedicated his life to serving others as a father, husband, soldier, small business owner, and financial analyst. With more than 30 years of experience in business and finance, while serving 30 years in the Army Reserve — including combat tours in Kuwait, Iraq, and Afghanistan before retiring as a Colonel — Tom is well prepared to serve our community as its next assemblyman.
Affordability
New York’s high taxes and rising costs are putting pressure on families, seniors, and small businesses. Tom Sullivan will fight for tax relief, responsible budgets, and common-sense policies to make New York more affordable.
Quality of Life
Many neighborhoods are facing concerns like cleanliness, sanitation, overcrowding, and neglected public spaces. Tom Sullivan will work to improve local quality of life by supporting better services, responsible planning, and investments that keep communities safe, clean, and livable.
Rockaway Level 1 Trauma Center
Residents of the Rockaways deserve access to the highest level of emergency care close to home. Tom Sullivan will fight to bring a Level 1 Trauma Center to the Rockaways, ensuring faster emergency response times and better healthcare access for residents and first responders.
Public Safety and First Responders
Many New Yorkers are concerned about rising crime and the safety of their neighborhoods. Tom Sullivan will support our police, firefighters, and EMS personnel by investing in training, resources, and tools needed to keep communities safe.
