United States Army Reserve Colonel
Tom Sullivan served for over 30 years in the United States Army Reserve, retiring with the rank of Colonel. During his military career, he completed combat deployments to Kuwait, Iraq, and Afghanistan, leading soldiers and managing complex missions both at home and overseas. His decades of service reflect a lifelong commitment to leadership, duty, and serving his country.
Small Business Owner and Financial Advisor
For more than 30 years, Tom Sullivan built a successful career in the financial industry while helping manage his family's nearly 90-year-old business. His experience in finance and small business has given him firsthand insight into the challenges facing working families, entrepreneurs, and local employers.
Father
Tom Sullivan is most proud to be a father. He and his wife raised their three children, Sean, Jack, and Grace, and have always made family their top priority. Being a father has been one of the greatest joys and responsibilities of his life, shaping the values of hard work, dedication, and service that guide him today. Of all the titles he has held, father is the one he considers the most meaningful.
Community Leader
Thomas Sullivan has always been committed to serving his community. As a member of the Breezy Point Cooperative Board of Directors, he helped lead the rebuilding effort after Hurricane Sandy, when more than 350 homes were destroyed. Through his involvement in local organizations and community groups, Thomas continues to work to support and strengthen the neighborhoods he calls home.

Thomas Sullivan earned his college degree and MBA from Mount Saint Mary’s University. While there, he also served as an Assistant Professor of Military Science for the ROTC program, helping train and mentor future military leaders.
